The study visit of for M.Sc. students of specialization QD,FP and Forensic Physics was arranged at ‘Currency Note Press (CNP)’ and ‘Indian Security Press (ISP)’, Nashik, where they were exposed to complete process of currency note printing and various security features of currency notes as well as other documents like stamp paper, passport etc.

In this activity students were given overall idea about inspection of accidental inspection, damage of various parts, breaking system etc. The owner of the Auto garage Mr. Kirit Ruparel also explained about the documentation required to file the insurance claim and the documents required in the court of law.

Forensic Physics Department have all the equipments and electronic kits required for conducting practical as prescribed in the syllabus. Some of the important equipments are Gouy’s balance, Quinke’s method apparatus, Resistivity measurement apparatus, Ultrasonic interferometer, He-Ne Laser, GM counter, Hall effect apparatus, Abbe’s refractometer, Stereomicroscope etc.
