NSS

The National Service Scheme, commonly referred to as NSS, is a national level volunteer program launched by the Government of India with the objective of fostering social consciousness and promoting community service among the youth. The program provides an opportunity for students to participate in various social activities such as literacy campaigns, blood donation drives, health camps, and environmental conservation initiatives. NSS aims to create a sense of social responsibility and empathy among students towards the less privileged sections of the society. NSS volunteers work towards the betterment of the community and contribute towards building a sustainable and inclusive society. NSS has been successful in promoting the spirit of volunteerism among the youth and has helped in bringing about positive changes in the lives of many people across India.
